The Young and the Restless Wednesday, June 26 Recap: Connor’s Scary Move, Adam & Chelsea’s Visit Ends in Horror

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 26, reveals that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will accuse Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) of interrogating her like a traitor when she was just trying to sell the plan like they talked about.

Devon will argue that he had to sell his skepticism as well, but he’ll ultimately admit he was testing Lily and that he’s wondering whether she actually wants to join Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Abbott-Chancellor.

Although Lily will deny it, she’ll act like Devon’s treatment is making her consider the idea.

Devon will suspect maybe Lily’s looking for reasons to jump ship at Winters instead, but she’ll act like he’s being ridiculous.

At Society, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will summon Billy after hearing certain rumblings, so Billy will assume Chance has learned about the upcoming board vote.

Chance will express confusion since he’ll actually be talking about Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) health struggles since he filled her in.

Although Chance will worry that Jill is downplaying things, Billy will feel like she’s legitimately doing well with her new treatment.

Billy will eventually tell Chance about the demerger and hint about making him COO shortly before Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) pop up. There’ll be more tension, but Devon will suggest he intends to go with whatever the board wants.

Once Devon joins Nate at another table, Nate will think maybe Lily was right about Devon trying to drive her to stay at Abbott-Chancellor.

If Devon doesn’t want to run Winters with Lily, Nate will think he needs to be honest about that – and he’ll feel like Lily needs to be honest about what she really wants, too.

Next, Jill will contact Billy via video call and admit she’s having second thoughts about undoing the merger since it’s such a huge risk.

Jill will also question if Lily will really be so enthusiastic about sharing her CEO spot with Billy.

Nevertheless, Billy will point out that Jill trusted him with her voting power and will keep hyping up what a great move this is.

Back at the office, Chance will approach Lily to express his support now that Billy’s told him about the companies splitting.

Lily will also flash back to a conversation with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) about his vision for their family business, so she’ll obviously be torn.

Afterward on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Jill will call Lily to express doubt next and admit she’s tempted to take back her own voting power for something this important.

However, Jill will remain cagey about which way she’s leaning.

In Maryland, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have pizza with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) in a hotel room as they wrap up a wonderful day together.

Connor will seem like he’s in good spirits and will thank his parents for everything they’re doing for him.

It’ll fill Adam and Chelsea with hope as Connor talks about his desire to get back to normal in Genoa City, so they’ll give him plenty of hugs and support.

Once Connor returns to his facility for a group session, Chelsea and Adam will be on cloud nine as they prepare to head home.

Adam will even ask for some Champagne to be chilling on the jet since they have something to celebrate.

Unfortunately, Dr. Hammond (Megan De Mayo) will call and set up an in-person meeting with Adam and Chelsea while they’re still in town.

It’ll be a situation where Dr. Hammond thinks it’s best to talk face to face instead of over the phone.

Dr. Hammond will explain that Connor’s OCD flared up once he shared updates on his great day with the group.

It caused the OCD to punish Connor, who eventually tried to stab himself with a pen.

Although a nurse stopped Connor before he broke the skin, Dr. Hammond will explain that Connor was moved to impatient status – which means he’s isolated, has more check-ins and won’t be seeing his regular doctors.

That news will leave Chelsea and Adam worried about another setback for Connor, but Dr. Hammond will try to explain everything.

As for how long Connor will remain in impatient status, Dr. Hammond will suggest it could be a few days or a couple weeks.

Once Dr. Hammond is gone, Adam push Chelsea to say something, but she won’t feel like she can talk him out of a rage spiral right now.

Chelsea will need Adam to stop her from freaking out instead, so he’ll step up and be there for her.

Although Chelsea will fear that they were selfish parents who didn’t see Connor’s problems early on, Adam won’t want her thinking like that.

Adam will assure Chelsea that everything’s OK before he wraps an arm around her and kisses her head.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Connor has more highs and lows ahead in his recovery, so stick with us for more predictions on how Chelsea and Adam will cope.
