Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer & Chance’s Quickie Wedding To Gain Custody Of Harrison
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) recently revealed to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) her feelings of jealousy toward Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Her new cousin has bonded quickly with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), and Summer naturally feels insecure about it.
While Summer isn’t Harrison’s biological mom, she’s the only “mother” he’s ever known. Still, as she’s no longer with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and no longer lives at the Abbott mansion, she feels like her time with Harrison is limited. She’s scared he’ll forget about her.
Summer noted during that conversation that she and Kyle never drafted an official custody agreement, and maybe it’s time to do so. It looks like things could get sticky between Skyle, so will this prompt Summer to do something drastic?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Things Are Going To Get “Nasty”
Y&R spoilers indicate that Kyle and Summer aren’t exactly on the same page lately when it comes to co-parenting. Harrison’s kidnapping threw the couple for a loop, and as Summer doesn’t trust Claire (although she has tried to extend an olive branch), Kyle is intrigued by the new Newman.
During a red-carpet interview by Michael Fairman TV at the 51st Daytime Emmys, Michael Mealor stated that things are going to get “nasty” between Summer, Kyle, and Claire.
There’s a good chance that Summer does approach Kyle to have something placed in writing about custody, but will Kyle agree to it?
Y&R Spoilers – The Summance Wedding
If Kyle digs his heels about a custody agreement, Summer may decide to take things to another level. With Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as a grandfather, she may turn to the Moustache for help, and he may offer up Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) legal services.
Then again, as Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is her brother, and he’s with attorney Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), could Summer use her as a lawyer? Could Heather suggest presenting a solid family life for the judge?
Summer is in a good relationship with Chance, while Kyle is a single pringle who often leaves Harrison for “sleepovers” with other women – Summer may point to his relationship with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Still a “good relationship” is far different from a marriage, so could Stevens suggest moving up their next romantic step for this custody battle?
