All Tuckered Out: Trevor St. John Is Done at Young & Restless

Luckily, as we learned today, Tucker’s heart attack on The Young and the Restless wasn’t real. It was just a last ditch effort to stall Glissade’s board vote and while it didn’t quite work, at least Tucker didn’t die. With that said, his exit looks to still be imminent as Trevor St. John’s time in Genoa City is up.
St. John took over the role in 2022, after William Russ originated it in 2009 and Days of Our Lives‘ Stephen Nichols (Steve) took it on from 2010 to 2013. This time around, he made a grand entrance, scheming with Diane, flying into Summer and Kyle’s vow renewal in a helicopter and wasting no time in trying to woo Ashley back. But that reunion got derailed once the business with Ashley’s alters began and now, as of today, Audra and Victor have successfully ousted him from his company.
That, of course, didn’t mean it was the end of Tucker, but then St. John took to Twitter/X to share the news with his fans, writing, “Dear Young & Restless fans: As you well know, Tuckers come and Tuckers go, and so the cycle continues… This Tucker is in his go phase…”
He went on to tweet thanks for “each and every member of the wonderful cast, the crew, the directors, the producers and production staff, and CBS/Sony for the great experience from day one to the last. I feel so fortunate to have played such a terrific role.”
“Most importantly,” he continued, “I want to offer my heartfelt gratitude to you, the Young & Restless fans. Thank you!”
Though he didn’t reveal his final airdate, we can only guess that it’s imminent — especially with everything Tucker’s just lost. But, as St. John pointed out, “Tucker might be gone for the time being, but I’m not going anywhere. I’ve got projects in the works, and if you haven’t seen my film, A Good Enough Day, it’s now available to stream for free on Tubi!”
We’ll be sure to update with any news as we learn it, including when his final airdate might be!
