General Hospital Josh Kelly & Chloe Lanier’s Real-Life Romance – Cody & Nelle Actors Dating

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that sparks have been flying for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), but Cody’s portrayer has found a spark with someone else off-screen – and it turns out that someone also has a connection to Port Charles.

A fan event called the Men of General Hospital was held recently in New York, but those who showed up got to see a former female cast member as well.

Josh Kelly, Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) and James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) were already scheduled to be at the event, but then Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle Benson) made a surprise appearance and delighted the crowd.

There was some confusion when Lanier initially arrived wearing a fake beard and a baseball cap, but she was just trying to recreate Kelly’s look as a gag.

Kelly ultimately revealed that he was in a real-life romance with Lanier, so now we have confirmation that these two are dating.

Fans will recall that Chloe Lanier played Nelle Benson, who fell off a cliff to her demise back in 2020 – though she has been part of some fantasy scenes since then.

Josh Kelly made his first splash as Cody Bell on GH in 2022 and remains in Port Charles to this day.

Now that Kelly and Lanier have a romance going on, is there a chance he might convince her to return to the show?

Although Nelle supposedly fell to her demise, we all know just about any fatal exit can be undone on soaps.

There’d be so much drama to play now that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is finally growing closer to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

Just imagine if Nelle popped back up alive and sought help from Nina to stay out of prison!

Nina could find herself torn between wanting to support the daughter she never got to know and wanting to preserve the relationship she’s forming with Willow.

There’s no guarantee that Chloe Lanier will come back as Nelle and reveal her survival, but the show would be lucky to have her.

With Lanier dating Kelly, you never know what might happen behind the scenes.
