General Hospital’s Steve Burton Addresses Tragedy for Jason’s Boys, Pleads for ‘No More Kids Getting Hurt’

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stirred up concerns as she faced off with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the June 18 episode. During that confrontation, Sam tried to help Carly understand the risks of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) hanging around dangerous Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Of course, Carly wasn’t interested in helping Sam keep Danny and Jason apart, so Sam made some ominous comments.

After reminding Carly of Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) grim fate and pointing out that she didn’t want Danny to wind up deceased too, Sam delivered a warning.

If something happens to Danny, Sam made it clear that Carly would be just as responsible as Jason.

That naturally left many fans worried that Danny could be injured or worse because of all the Jason danger.

There’s no denying that Jason’s tangled up in some risky messes right now, so it’s easy to imagine that blowing back on Danny sooner or later.

In a recent episode of The Daily Drama Podcast, Steve Burton talked about Jason’s upcoming material with both Danny and Jake Webber (Hudson West).

“But I am enjoying the scenes I have with my boys now, so we’re having a good time doing that…exploring…” Burton told Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli).

Anderson admitted that he hoped nothing tragic would happen to Jason’s kids, so let’s look at Burton’s response to that troubling idea.

“NO! No, let’s not go there for sure,” Burton said.

Although Anderson acknowledged that kind of thing can sometimes create drama for the front-burner characters, Steve Burton is obviously hoping the show doesn’t take that route.

“Yeah, no more kids getting hurt. Please! Please! We don’t need to go down that road,” Burton insisted.

Jake already “died” once, so most viewers can agree that he needs to stay alive and well. The same goes for Danny since Jason and his loved ones have been through enough as it is.

That said, GH writers could have some scary situations in mind for Jason’s boys eventually, so we’ll bring you more predictions on any terrifying ordeals might be ahead for Jake and Danny.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason will have to deal with more Pikeman complications and make some updates to his plans, so that could lead to some unsettling news along the way.
