What does Elizabeth Webber have to do to get a break on General Hospital?

Against all odds, the indefatigable heroine and Finn had finally gotten to not a good place but a great one. They had overcome the fact that she accidentally killed his first wife, that she pretended to be having Nikolas’ baby, that she was a coconspirator in Esme’s abduction… They had made it past a lot.

But then Finn accidentally took a drink at Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding — and kept right on drinking in the wake of dad Gregory’s death. It was such an upsetting one-two punch that Liz became concerned about little Violet spending time with her dad. And the week of June 3, “Fiz’s” once-idyllic relationship is further shattered when Liz walks in on her significant other with someone on his lap who is most definitely not his daughter.

Seriously, though, look at her expression in the preview below. This is the definition of no bueno!

Will this be the straw that breaks the camel’s break and sends the couple their separate ways? Or will Liz tap into her reserves of strength and tough-love her boyfriend through the crisis that is turning both of their lives upside-down? We have a hunch that it’s going to be the latter, especially considering all the storms that she has weathered in the past. Giving up is simply not in her nature.

Of course, the answer might very well depend on whom Finn is with and exactly what’s transpired between them. The situation might turn out to be completely innocent… or it could turn out to be the kind of thing that leaves a guy with a guilty conscience and his favorite nurse with questions regarding their future!
