Previously, Chanel and Johnny found out that they were going through a complicated pregnancy, brought on by the radiation Chanel was exposed to through Paulina. Unintentionally of course. While they eventually decided to take their chances and carry their pregnancy to full term, fate may have some other plans for them.

The two had already been entertaining the idea of moving away from Salem, ever since Johnny got that out-of-town job offer. If Chanel and Johnny do lose their baby, they may decide that moving away from Salem, and settling in a new city could breathe some fresh air in their life. Perhaps even diminishing their pain to a certain degree.
