Days Of Our Lives Spoilers recall that the news of Emily O’Brien’s exit as Gwen and getting recast as Theresa really shocked the DOOL fandom. Not that we had never seen an actor portraying multiple characters on the same soap. But still, it was just so odd. Especially when some episodes overlapped their stories.
It meant we were seeing Emily as Gwen the brunette and in the same episode, we were seeing her as Theresa the blonde. It was just weird. However, as time passed, Emily settled quite well in Theresa’s skin (and wig). But perhaps she shouldn’t get all too comfy because DOOL spoilers are now teasing that another casting shakeup could be on its way for her!
We know that Theresa was neck deep in Konstantin’s dirty schemes that he just took the solo fall for. However, such secrets never stay hidden for too long. Moreover, with Alex resolute about making a commitment to her, we can see trouble popping up soon. Konstantin had left everyone with the stunning warning that they had an enemy amidst them.
Hence, there is a chance that Theresa’s secret will soon come out. And when that happens, her life will totally fall apart. Alex would certainly dump her, and Brady would not want to be around her either. Thus, she may have no other choice but to skip town. If that happens, Emily would once again be free to play Gwen!
And the timing for her return would be perfect! Especially with Jack Deveraux, and Abigail returning to the canvas! A whole lot of drama awaits Gwen in Salem! In fact, before leaving town, Gwen had quite clearly declared that Salem had not seen the last of her! The makers could make good on that warning!
