Bold & Beautiful’s Poppy Just Made a *Huge* Mistake — and It Ain’t Gonna End Well for Her… Or [Spoiler]

Whether Poppy’s actually a golddigger or not, she just made a miscalculation that’s going to come back to haunt her… and when she goes down, she will almost certainly take an innocent party on Bold & Beautiful with her!

Poppy is currently basking in the glow of her new life with Bill in the Spencer Estate. In fact, it seemed like she and Luna may have already had their bags packed given how quickly they moved into the mega-mansion after the paternity test proved to be positive. But moving too fast wasn’t her mistake…

Luna and Poppy had no sooner stowed their suitcases in their considerably larger rooms when Katie turned up at the door, fresh off of an alarming conversation with Li, who made no bones about her sister being an opportunist. This alone was enough to bring out Katie’s protective instincts, but what happened next did not help to reassure her about Bill’s new lady love.

Sure, Katie was bound to be jealous that Bill has a new woman, and the fact that they seemingly have a child together only adds to the ouch, but it’s not the green-eyed monster that Poppy needs to fear, it’s the Logan’s ability to sense when something is off.

One could argue that Katie’s radar is selective, after all, she was completely in the dark when Sally Spectra faked a terminal illness to hold onto Wyatt, but when it comes to Bill, those instincts are well-honed and dead-on.

Katie headed to Bill’s house looking to have a conversation with him, but was already on alert due to Li’s unwavering assertion that Poppy is a golddigger with a long history of targeting good-looking rich men. What greeted her there, did nothing to quell any fears she was harboring… in fact, it only made them worse.

While Poppy was outwardly cordial toward Katie, a switch had clearly been flipped since the last time the two came face-to-face, with Bill’s special-mint-loving girlfriend having shifted into a ‘lady of the manor’ type persona. Right before our eyes, she oh-so-subtly tried to give Katie the boot, dropping lines about it not being her house anymore, and having a “million things to do” to put her stamp on the place. Longtime viewers watched in fascinated horror as Poppy, quite confidently, made the huge miscalculation that we all knew would cost her dearly.

Bold & Beautiful can be all over the place at times, but one thing that remains consistent is that you don’t get too far messing with a Logan, or “her” man, on this show. Poppy, of course, is oblivious to this unspoken rule, and isn’t even aware of the hell she unleashed on herself by condescending to Katie in Bill’s living room.

Katie’s expression was that of amused patience, but it was unmistakably giving, “Who the hell do you think you are?!” Behind that smile, one could imagine her figuratively sharpening her talons for the moment she’ll go in for the eventual kill. And make no mistake, Katie will end Poppy’s dreams of living the high life.

It might take a while, but in that moment, Poppy sealed her fate. Katie will make it her life’s mission from this moment forward to expose her… and she’ll probably take Bill back in the process… because Carter who? Don’t see the writing on the wall? Even Don Diamont teased trouble ahead.

Bold & Beautiful fans, at this point, know there has to be something to Li’s accusations about her sister, and that there had to be something fishy about that paternity test. Bill, Poppy, and Luna were entirely too blissful for it to be on the up-and-up. Yep, the other shoe is going to drop and we’re positive it will be one of Katie’s stilettos!

Unfortunately for Poppy, she won’t be the only one who suffers thanks to her big mistake. Luna’s world will come crashing down too. This won’t end well for either of them.
