The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, June 3 Recap: Li Takes Over DNA Test – Ridge Saves Hope’s Line
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, June 3, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up looking for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), which led to her interrupting Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) conversation in the design office.
Once Li found out Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) was claiming Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) daughter, she acted like that was ridiculous and called her sister a manipulative, opportunistic gold digger – which alarmed Katie.
At Bill’s place, he was just about to do DNA swabs with Luna when Li burst through the door and said to hold it right there.
Since Li heard about Poppy’s claim and clearly suspected this was a scam, she insisted she would oversee the test with her own sealed DNA kit.
Poppy lashed out and wanted Li to leave since she was being disrespectful, but Bill thought Li should stay since she was a doctor and nobody had anything to hide.
Luna was tired of waiting, so she just wanted to move forward one way or the other.
Li insisted they’d use her test and find out if Bill was Luna’s father or if Poppy was lying.
Back at Forrester Creations on Monday’s B&B episode, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) suggested an official meeting about the future of Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) line, so Steffy asked Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to leave.
Once Brooke took off, Hope hyped up all her mother’s profitable contributions and acted like Steffy hadn’t done much of value herself.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) urged everyone to take a step back and cool off before he ultimately sided with Hope about giving her line more time.
It was premature to pull the plug on Hope for the Future, so Carter agreed they could look at next quarter’s numbers and reevaluate.
Ridge also said that Steffy, Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) were the future of this company, so he warned that they couldn’t succeed if they couldn’t work together.
Once Ridge exited, Hope said it was fine if Steffy wanted to pretend that her family hadn’t helped to make Forrester Creations a success, but she made a prediction about proving her wrong.
At the Forrester mansion, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) told Eric Forrester (John McCook) about Steffy threatening to cancel Hope for the Future.
Brooke returned later with updates from the office and hoped Ridge would block Steffy’s attempt to eliminate Hope’s line.
