90 Day Fiance John McManus Is A Daddy?

John McManus became a fan favorite when his brother, Patrick Mendes appeared on 90 Day Fiance. He met the love of his life, Thais Ramone, and eventually made John an uncle. Patrick and John continued to gain fans through their appearances on Pillow Talk. Their commentary had viewers in stitches and it landed John a spot on The Single Life. He had moved to Las Vegas by then and met Megan Brown who lived in Texas. They had a long-distance relationship but she was ready for him to make the move. He finally decided that he could commit to her so he headed to Texas.

She did have a daughter, River, 4 but it was unclear if this was the life that John really wanted. Even his brother was skeptical and at the reunion, timeframes were brought up. Did John want to get married and if so, how soon? Was it soon enough to make Megan happy? He dodged it for a few moments before he dropped to his knee and popped the question. So, has Megan made John a father already? In a way, yes. He just shared an Instagram video from his birthday and Megan decorated it to the nines.

Yet, in it, she kept referring to the 90 Day Fiance star as “Daddy.” The cards all said “Daddy” and Megan panned to her daughter, making a note that it was “Daddy’s birthday.” It is clear that John McManus has taken on the father role regardless of whether he wants it or not. However, he seemed very pleased with what was set up for him for his big day. At the same time, fans had a lot of thoughts regarding the way Megan appeared to be forcing River to call John “Daddy.”

A Little Strange

Some 90 Day Fiance fans did not care for Megan Brown’s constant referring to John McManus as “Daddy.” They headed right to the comment section to share their thoughts:

  • Hey John, happy birthday. I have a question do u like that someone else’s child is calling u daddy?
  • Daddy? 🤦🏻‍♀️ why not just call him John.
  • Daddy?😮
  • Talk about pressure 😰

Others just felt they should leave John and Megan alone and let them live their lives as they wanted. He seemed happy and that is all that matters.
