General Hospital Monday, June 10 Recap: Liz Dumps Finn After Jason Plays Hero – Nina Can’t Resist Drew
General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, June 10, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about his potential run for Congress since it might interfere with his part in the wellness venture, but Curtis was willing to step up more and supported Drew’s political ambitions.
In Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office, she gave Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) updates on her wonderful afternoon with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), so she suggested dancing with the devil aka Drew was a small price to pay.
However, Nina kept gushing about Drew’s body, so Maxie wondered why since Nina had previously been adamant that she was done sleeping with him.
After Drew reacted to some news on his phone, he barged in Nina’s office to complain about something related to business and acted like she was never satisfied.
Maxie took that as her cue to leave, so Drew and Nina wound up arguing alone.
Although Nina and Drew established that they couldn’t stand each other, they still surrendered to temptation by stripping down for another passionate encounter.
At the Surf Lodge, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) dined with Willow on their date night, so that gave her a chance to tell him what happened with Nina at the pool.
Willow confessed that it had been nice lately Nina was respecting boundaries instead of constantly pushing for more.
Once Willow admitted Drew was the reason that her feelings were changing, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) popped up on a date of their own.
After briefly interacting with Willow and Michael, Josslyn and Dex headed to a different table.
Willow was excited to see Dex and Josslyn inching their way back together, but Michael assumed they were taking it slow based on what Josslyn confided in him.
Talk turned back to Drew, so Willow suggested maybe she could get over her own issues with Nina since he’d done the same.
Michael wondered if Willow had forgiven Nina, but Willow was just ready to start fresh and move on now that there were no more secrets.
Nearby, Josslyn confessed that there might be another date in Dex’s future if he played his cards right.
Although Josslyn apologized for being so harsh with Dex before, he felt he deserved it and suggested he should be thanking her for dumping him since he saw the light.
After Josslyn talked about changing her major to environmental science, she said she could see herself dating a cop and left Dex hopeful.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) relayed their concerns about Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) drinking to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Despite Brook Lynn and Chase’s good intentions of protecting Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) while Finn went to rehab, Tracy doubted Finn would respond well to their efforts.
That said, Tracy offered her support and hoped that Finn could be persuaded.
At Finn’s apartment, Barb (Devon Ogden) asked if Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was Finn’s wife.
Elizabeth called herself the ex-girlfriend instead, so Barb thought Liz should back off since Finn had moved on.
After Elizabeth pushed Barb to go home and sleep it off, Barb finally left in a huff.
Finn ranted that Liz didn’t get to judge him and acted like she’d abandoned him while he was grieving.
Elizabeth shut down that idea and hoped Violet wasn’t around for any of this. Since Liz wasn’t certain of anything when it came to Finn lately, he broke down in tears and pushed for a chance to explain.
Although Finn was sorry for what he’d said and done, Liz was adamant that they were over.
Finn grabbed Elizabeth’s arm and begged her to stay, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived and ordered him to let her go.
Finn angrily asked if Liz called Jason and wondered if she thought he’d actually hurt her.
After Finn reflected on standing by Elizabeth during her mental health crisis, he scoffed over her walking out on him now.
Finn told Liz to leave her keys, so she plopped them in his drinking glass and headed for the door. Jason warned Finn not to go near Liz before he escorted her out.
Afterward, Jason took Elizabeth to the Metro Court pool, where they put their feet in the water.
Once Jason confessed that Jake Webber (Hudson West) called him, Elizabeth took that as a positive sign and acknowledged that Jason didn’t stay away from his family by choice.
Since Jason was determined to make up for lost time, Liz thought showing up when Jake was counting on him tonight mattered.
Back with Finn, he removed Elizabeth’s keys from his glass and tossed them away before drinking more tequila.
Finn flashed back on happier days with Elizabeth as he continued his downward spiral.
General Hospital spoilers say Finn’s problems will get even worse soon, so stick with us for more predictions on how far he’ll sink.
